Becoming a SUFA Trainer
Review the steps below and apply to lead nonclinical prevention workshops in your community as a certified SUFA Trainer.
STEP 1: Read and understand the expectations

STEP 2: Preview the application questions
STEP 3: Submit your application
Complete the application form. If you're still deciding, reach out to schedule a call with us at hello@substanceusefirstaid.org and we'll talk it through before you commit.
What happens next, if you're selected:
STEP 4: Review and sign your agreement and submit payment
We will send the SUFA Organization & Authorized Trainer Agreement for electronic signature and an invoice to the billing contact you provide in the application. We accept ACH, check, or credit card, with payment due within 30 days.
STEP 5: Attend a free SUFA workshop
If you have not already done so, you will schedule and attend a SUFA participant workshop, a required prerequisite to become a SUFA Trainer.
STEP 6: Schedule your SUFA Trainer session.
Finally, you'll schedule the two-day SUFA Training certification. Once complete, you are a certified SUFA Trainer.
